Earlier this month, the annual Kobe Girls Collection (神戸コレクション) was held at Kobe World Kinen Hall.   The Kobe Girls collection is a wildly popular 6 hour fashion show was hosted by Jun Natsukawa and Takatoshi Kaneko and featured about 70 top models (Marie, Lena Fujii, Alisa Urahama, Azusa Koizumi, Coco Kinoshita etc) and celebrities in Japan showcasing  over 30 fashion brands including those of  young and upcoming designers.

The Kobe Collection and its Tokyo counterpart  attract thousands of young Japanese womens with their ‘‘kawaii’’ (cute) fashions which are generally ordinary clothes that are on sale at shops in places such as Shibuya and Harajuku.  Read more...

Alisa Urahama 浦浜 アリサ is a half Japanese half American Japanese fashion model born in Hyogo prefecture who debuted as a model for JJ magazine at age 16.  The 172 cm (5′9″) 16 year old has also appeared in magazines 25ans, GINGER, その他雑誌 SWEET , GLAMOROUS, 流行通信 “Fashion communication” , 流行通信girl “Communication fashion girl”, S-cawaii, NYLON, Invitation, MEN’S NONNO, Anan, Tarzan and weekly SPA.

She has appeared on TV commerciasl for Allie (Kanebo cosmetics) and Kirin Beverage  “Black Lemon Ginger” , Kanebo, Big Echo, Baskin Robbins, Disneyland and Disneysea.
