Another round of YouTube Japanese video deletions coming
Not content with the deletion of 30,000 Japanese videos, The Japan Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers sent ANOTHER letter addressed to YouTube co-founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen requesting that YouTube introduce a preliminary screening system to prevent Japanese copyrighted clips from being posted. This probably means another round of video deletions and if a screening system is implemented, less videos being allowed through. You wonder why the copyright owners in Japan just don’t work with YouTube the same way NBC and CBS are in the US.
