Biyuuden, Byuuden or Viyuuden

Biyuuden, Byuuden, or Viyuuden 美勇伝 is a Jpop trio formed in August 2004 which is part of the larger Hello! Project family. The group’s name comes from the characters meaning
美 bi (び) : beauty
勇 yuu (ゆう) : bravery
伝 den (でん) : legend
The romanisation of these characters has led to various spellings of the band’s name causing some confusion.
The group consists of Ishikawa Rika (a former member of Morning Musume), Miyoshi Erika and Okada Yui. The group has released 7 singles and 1 Album and in 2004 they performed as part of Hello! Project All Stars. They also hosted the TV show Majokko Rikachan no Magical Biyuuden in 2004 and now have their own radio show, v-u-den B.B.L.
