DJ Ozma spices up the annual Red and White Song Contest
The Annual NHK New Year’s Eve programme “Red and White Song Contest“ (紅白歌合戦kohaku uta gassen) had a lively moment last night when performer DJ Ozma stripped on stage and his twenty female back-up dancers changed into outfits that made it look like they were nude during the performance. Not quite as wild as anything you would see on the US MTV Music awards but still unacceptable by NHK standards prompting NHK’s host Tamio Miyake to aplogize later in the show.
We doubt DJ Ozma will be invited back next year. The best thing about this year’s show as last year’s, was the beautiful Nakama Yukie as one of the hosts.

DJ Ozma is awesome. He will be back again for 紅白next year I think. I think he was a major reason why 白 won

Youtube has removed most of the video clip of this.. it’s bad not able to watch it for overseas people.
