From Japan, Got Milk Beer?

Japan has some great beers. The big brands Asahi, Kirin, Sapporo and Yebisu are all quite drinkable. (Our favourites by the way are Yona Yona Ale and Ginga Kogen)
We previous posted about speciality coffee and chocolate flavoured beers. Now comes news from Hokkaido of a Milk Beer called “Bilk”
A local brewery has produced a low-malt beer with milk, after the drink was suggested as a product that would help use up surplus milk and it reportedly has a fruity flavour that its brewers hope will be popular among women. Each bottle will cost 380 yen but you can only purchase this beer (for now ) in Nakashibetsu Hokkaido.
