Fun online Japanese train simulators
Japanese Train Otaku who liked our post on train simulation games (Desha De Go! 電車でGo! ) can now try out some simple online simulators driving various Japanese train lines. On the excellent Realrail website you have the option of 4 simulators the Enoshima Line Simulator 江ノ島線シミュレータ Online, the Inokashira Line Simulator 2 井の頭線シミュレータ２ Online, the Chitose Line Simulator 千歳線シミュレータ Online and the Keio Line Simulator 2 京王線シミュレータ２ Online. You can play online or download the games (about 50Mb) which have better video resolution
There are 2 modes of playing, one is the driver mode where you drive the train from one station to another within the alloted time and try not to overshoot the platform. The other is the passenger mode which shows you a sample drive through to each station using the control keys.

Sweet! I just downloaded the Enoshima line version and played it off my pc. Got a score of 2080. This is fun.
