Giri Giri Girls from the early 1990s
Like the C.C. Girls, the Giri Giri Girls were a sexy idol group from the early 1990s who became very popular due to their appearances on Japanese TV shows like Super Jockey. The group consisted of idols Mieko Arai 荒井美恵子 Asako Itsuki 樹亜采子 Rika Harada 原田里香 Rumi Mochizuki 望月留美 and Mika Yoshino 吉野美佳.
The five-member Giri-Giri Girls were a staple of late-night TV for several years from 1992-1995. They released 3 photo books and 5 albums and even won a Best Newcomer award in 1993. Rika Harada is the third member of the group to to marry - Mika Yoshino married Mr. Children vocalist kazutoshi Sakurai in 2000, and Rumi Mochizuki married a company employee in 2004. Meiko Arai has survived the longest with her career and she recently switched to the AV industry.

I remember watching both CC Girls and Giri Giri Girls, its hard to choose which group is better. IMHO CC girls were sexier and the Giri Giri Girls had more talent.
