Plastic surgery in Japan has become more common with Japanese celebrities and the trend continues in the general public too. Double Eyelids is the most common surgery and though inconspicuous, you can find plastic surgery ads mainly targeted at Japanese women who follow fashion trends. One medical clinic that has run plastic surgery ads on Japanese TV is the Otsuka Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery. Their ad features a beautiful model who doesn’t need plastic surgery.

Plastic surgery is extremely rampant in Japan, but you never know it because most Japanese are ashamed to admit it. They try every possible means to hide it.
