JJ, Japanese fashion magazine
JJ is a Japanese fashion and lifestyle magazine established in 1975 as an extra issue of weekly Josei Jishin, and published by Kobunsha. It the rival to the more popular CanCam but has a smaller circulation monthly circulation. Their list of celebrity JJ models has included the likes of Meisa Kuroki 黒木メイサ, Ryoko Tanami 田波涼子, Yumi Sugimoto 杉本有美, Alisa Urahama 浦浜 アリサ, Sayo Aizawa 相沢紗世,Hiroko Hatano 畑野 ひろ子and Liza リーザ.
The magazine similarly targets female college students and working Japanese women from 17-26 years old featuring the latest trends in fashions from a “conservative” point of view and also provides the newest information on overseas travel and shopping. There are two sister magazines Classy (for an older 24-28 year old audience) and JJ Bis (for the 15-19 year old teenage audience).

I’ve always preferred JJ over Cancam though they’re pretty much the same. JJ has more mixed models on its pages like Lisa, Alisa and Meisa.

Does anyone know where or how I can get a JJ Magazine subscription?? Better yet, does a well known bookstore carry it? My best friend Hideki was sending them to me (I’m in Cali) but he hasn’t done sent one for awhile now
Hope someone can help

You can get a subscription on Amazon.com. They also sell it at some Asian markets, just call and ask before you go.
