Otsuka Ai

Otsuka Ai, 大冢爱 is an amazing and popular singer songwriter with the Avex Trax Label. This talented Osaka native has also appeared in television commercials, acted in the TV drama Tokyo Friendsand hosts a radio show on JOQR Recomen called Otsuka Ai no ai-r jack. She came onto the music scene in 2003 with her first single “Momo no Hanabira“.

It was her next single, “sakuranbo“, in December 2003 that really made her a star and in March 2004, her first album “LOVE PUNCH” debuted at No. 3 on the Oricon charts. Her talent is obvious and her music is refreshing change from the predictable sounds coming from Avex Trax. Add that fact that she’s very cute, and you’ve got the total package here!

    Ai is my most favourite Japanese singer. I really love her “Smily” song. The video clip kinda of funny and interesting. :)
