Leave it to Bandai to come up with these super kawaii baby cosplay rompers ロンパースタイル for babies aged 0-2 born to otaku parents. There are 10 cute outfits available including Doraemon, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Dragonball, Char and Devilman starting at only 1,029 yen.
The 100% cotton rompers come in sizes 70-80cm and some of them even come with headgear (SUTAISTYLE). Bandai expects to start selling the rompers from summer this year through selected retail shops.

The only question is which cosplay outfit Dad and Mom will chose and will they also dress up in cosplay too for a family outing

Those wacky otaku folks at Thanko have come up with an (ideal?) gift for your Japanese OL office lady girlfriend this Christmas – the USB Bust Beauty Pad USB バストビューティーパッド. It’s actually designed to warm her breast under her bra during those cold winter days working at the computer.

The USB Bust Beauty Pad is powered by your pc and your girlfriend just slips the U-shaped pads under her bra which will warm to up to 40C. The pads are meant to last about six months, and the whole set-up costs about 1980 Yen.

Asaki Yoshida 吉田亜咲 is a pretty and cute 23 year old gravure idol from Tokyo who started her career in 2003 but retired in 2006.


During that time she released 12 DVDs and 4 photo books and was so popular she was known as a Gravure Legend 伝説のグラドル by the otaku in Akihabara.


When she retired, it was rumored that she would start a singing career but nothing has been heard of her since.

We’ve previously featured Candy Fruits, a well known Japanese maid costume and cosplay brand. Capitalizing on their popularity, the company has opened up its first maid themed establishment in Akihabara last August called “Refresh Club キャンディフルーツ リフレッシュクラブ where stressed out salarymen or otaku can relax enjoying the company of a maid.

The stores concept is that of providing the customer with a chance to relax the body and mind, something known as “Iyashikei” in Japan. Customers can do a variety of activities including watching DVDs, doing yoga, reflexology, having their ears cleaned or even playing Wii Fit – all with their specially trained maids of choice. Earlier this month, Japan held its first ever awards ceremony Seiyuu (voice actors used in anime and other media). The Seiyuu Awards were held at the Tokyo Anime Center and winners appeared on the red carpet after the show to offer thanks to their loyal otaku fans who were gathered outside the Center.
In addition to awards categories for acting roles, there were also awards for the “Special Achievement” category and a “Synergy” award, which is awarded to the best movie or series that voters felt made a strong use of voice talent.
