In mid-2008, it was reported in the Japanese tabloid newspapers Shūkan Bunshun and Tokyo Sports that sexy Japanese av idol Maria Ozawa was dating J-pop star Koki Tanaka from the group KAT-TUN. According to the reports, Maria Ozawa neither confirmed or denied the rumours, saying only “If I’m dating someone I will stay devoted to him! I have a rule against sex friends. It’s not a good thing, plus having one boyfriend is enough”.

Maria Ozawa followed up on her Shinjuku strip club experience by starring in a cabaret show in Macau (next to Hong Kong) called “Tokyo Nights” which ran at the popular Rockza Nightclub in the Grand Lisboa Hotel. The show ran from August 16 to September 6, 2008 and featured Ozawa and several other Japanese av performers including  仙葉由季 Yuki Senba, 篠原リョウ Ryo Shinohara , 小野今日子 Kyoto Ono , かんな Kanna, 成瀨美穗 Miho Naruse , 相崎琴音 Kotone Aisaki, 水野美香 Mika Mizuko, 涌井 麻紀 Yuuki Maiko.
