Shiseido Tsubaki shampoo, idols and SMAP
How many popular, attractive idols/actresses can you put together in one hair shampoo commercial? Shiseido didn’t seem to have any problem paying for this large group - Yukie Nakama, Rena Tanaka, Takako Uehara , Ryoko Hirosue, Arisa Mitsuki, Yuko Takeuchi for its Tsubaki shampoo launch earlier this year.
(Tsubaki is the name of the Camellia flower and the shampoo has a sweet floral scent. )
Nice to see so many pretty women in one commercial and also the song in the background is SMAP’s Dear Woman which was launched around the same time. Wonder if the commercial helped Shiseido shampoo sales or helped SMAP’s music sales more?
