Study Animation and Otakuology Tokyo National University of Fine Arts

Anime and manga are big parts of Japanese pop culture today that it was only a matter of time before major educational institutions formalized courses in the subject. Japanese universities such as Kyoto Seika University and Tokyo University already have animation courses but it was recently announced that the prestigious The Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku 東京藝術大学 (Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music), a top university in Japan, is planning to start a graduate and undergraduate degrees in Animation starting next April at its Yokohama campus. If you’re an otaku in college, try to get your university to do an exchange program with these universities!
