If you’ve lived in Japan long enough, you will know Gachapin, the loveable green character from children’s television. Gachapin (along with his red buddy Mukku) is everywhere (billboards, commercials, cartoons, toys, t-shirts, mobile phone straps etc.)
If you’ve watched the TV shows, you’ll know Gacaphin can do just about anyting from martial arts, rock climbing and extreme sports. Definately a character that teaches young kids, “be strong and brave, you can do it!”

I’d hate to be the guys in the costumes, must be hot and potentially very dangerous doing all those sports and stunts. Take a look at the videos and see for yourself.
