The best Japanese USB and unusual gadget company Thanko now has an English language website called Rare Mono Shop. Rare Mono Shop (”mono” means things in Japanese) was set up so that Gaijin otaku could directly order their items.
Thanko and its parent company Sanko, have various retails shops in Akihabara but their spokesman announced that due to increasing demand from Gaijin and foreign tourists coming into the stores they decided to create an English language e-portal. If customers order from within the U.S. they won’t have worry about long shipping times or additional tax since all products will be shipped from within the US.
